schaller|bild+text is a small design practice working across visual identity, print, web, packaging and art direction. It specializes on the development of creative strategies and visual communication providing a bespoke, integrated design service to help clients communicate their message clearly and smartly, through strong concepts and carefully crafted design.
Susanne Schaller is a German designer and journalist. After her studies in Art History and Communication Studies in Germany and a degree in Stage Design in Italy she gained her first work experience in the Corporate Design Division of the German manufacturer Sigikid, design awards-winning brand-leader in modern and artistic toys. In the 1990s she moved to Rome as a freelancer, lecturing for many years in the Quasar Institute and cooperating, amongst others, with the Goethe Institut Rome.
Her career as a journalist started in 1996 as a correspondent for the magazine Novum – World of Graphic Design and since then she has written many articles on design culture, arts and fashion, mainly for German print magazines. She is a member of the Deutscher Presse Verband (DPV) and Associazione della Stampa Estera in Italia.
