Susanne Schaller is a designer and journalist based in Italy and Germany. After her studies in Communication Studies and History of Art and a degree in Stage Design she worked in the Corporate Design Division of the German brand-leader Sigikid. She has been a freelance graphic designer since the 1990’s and has lectured for many years in the Qasar Institute in Rome.

Since 1996 she has been a correspondent for the German magazine NOVUM – World of Graphic Design and writes regularly on design culture, arts and fashion for German and Italian publications.
She is a member of the “Deutscher Presse Verband (DPV)” and of the “Associazione della Stampa Estera in Italia”.

In 2003 she set up the visual communications consultancy schaller|bild+text which specialises in the development of creative strategies for an international client portfolio.

She relishes the challenges of creating logos, posters, brochures and websites and will work directly with clients, providing a customized, integrated design service, from concept development, through copywriting to final production. Her clients include Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, Newco, Fondazione Santa Lucia, Lerchen Apotheke Erlangen.
